Australia’s Golden Journey

Book Now 9 Nights Cairns, Darwin, Red Centre & Sydney including an overnight journey on The Ghan
from $2259 per person based on double occupancy

Australia is teaming with natural wonders, cultural gems and indigenous interaction – with meaningful experiences that will last you a lifetime!

Cairns – The gateway to the Great Barrier Reef is an ideal place to begin your adventure and explore the wonders of the Tropical North. Cairns is a vibrant city offering the quaintness of a resort town. Sail by luxury catamaran to Michaelmas Cay, a stunning sand island off Cairns.  Spend four hours on the reef snorkeling in crystal clear shallow waters, experiencing a marine biologist guided tour, taking a semi-submersible tour or perhaps scuba diving.  Stroll through the city and stop at a local restaurant to mix with the locals.

From Cairns, venture to the Northern Territory.  This is the place to engage with local outback characters and where you’ll find dramatic sunsets and sunrises, and the spiritual home of the Aboriginal people. So many special places, sacred sites, and meaningful experiences are available in the Northern Territory. This place will transform you.  Take the legendary train journey through the heart of Australia.  The Ghan travels 1875 miles in total on its transcontinental journey.  Marvel at the tropical city of Darwin with a fusion of cultures from Asian to Western to Aboriginal and more than 50 other nationalities.  From here arrive in Alice Springs, a lively town, nestled between the East and West MacDonnell Ranges. Learn about Alice’s unique pioneering spirit, which is embodied in groups such as the Afghan cameleers, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and the School of the Air.

Travel onto Uluru (Ayers Rock) & Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) – the first things you’ll notice in Ayers Rock is the ever-changing color palette and the beautiful richness of the landscape. Ayers Rock is a monolith that has spiritual significance to the Aboriginal people, so we’ve included a sunrise tour and Valley of the Winds Walk at The Olgas.

From the Northern Territory, you’ll travel to Sydney – Australia’s oldest city. Here you will find the famous Sydney Opera House hosting international acts from around the world. Sydney has the world’s most resplendent harbor, a Mediterranean climate and a rich blend of cultures and we’ve included a city sights tour on arrival.
