The Aboriginal Cultural Experience, one of the best aboriginal tours, presents two local Aboriginal brothers sharing their remarkable culture with you during the evening. Their performance, very unique to Flames of the Forest and staged within the natural, authentic backdrop of this spiritual and mystical culture, features a traditional storytelling as well as didgeridoo playing and music. There’s a lot to explore and experience! Things that you’ve never come across before!

Swedish chef, Jannica Forssman, has constructed tasty dishes, such as the lemon myrtle infused kangaroo loin on a bed of wild rocket & toasted macadamia nuts, garnished with homemade fig chutney, giving guests a sense of the environment. Other meals include salt and pepper crocodile, wok tossed with chorizo, bush lemon & vine ripened tomatoes. Sounds delicious! Care to give them a try?

For the romantically inclined, the Rainforest Dining Experience will delight and perhaps inspire proposals of grandeur during this intimate gathering whilst being serenaded by the dulcet tones of a solo acoustic guitarist. Ah, love is in the air!

Departure Information

The Aboriginal Cultural Experience departs from  Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas on Tuesday and Thursdays at approximately 6:00 pm. The Rainforest Dining option departs during Saturday nights only from 6:00 pm.

What’s Included

This fantastic experience includes hotel return trips, sparkling wine and canapes on arrival, a tropical platter dinner banquet that includes selected Australian wine and beers as well as locally grown tea and coffee. This also includes an indigenous cultural performance and music with dreamtime story telling. The Rainforest Dining option includes hotel trips as well as a 6-course plated tropical tasting menu that’s complemented by Australian wine and beers with a solo acoustic guitarist.

Additional Information

The Rainforest Dining experience is not for children under 15 years of age while the Aboriginal Cultural Experience is not suitable for children under 5. Child rates apply to those 6-16 years.
