Travel to Ningaloo and Exmouth
Dive into the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef and swim with hundreds of tropical fish, gaze in awe at the colorful coral and meet the world’s biggest fish – the Whale Shark. The reef is one of the largest fringing reefs in the world and is accessible right from the beach. During the winter months the area is a migratory route for dolphins, dugongs, mantra rays and humpback whales make it a wildlife paradise. There is no limit to the way you can experience the reef. Take a dive boat, a catamaran, a glass bottomed boat, a sea kayak, a scenic flight or slip on a snorkel and set off from the beach. As a contrast to the turquoise waters of Ningaloo, head east for some outback adventures in the pristine Cape Range National Park. Take a 4WD drive and explore some of the park’s most famous attractions including Shothole and Charles Knife Canyons. A 3 miles track connects the two offering stunning outback scenery
Once a US navy town, Exmouth is a modern outback town located at the northern end of Ningaloo Reef making it an excellent base for experiencing the reef and surrounding area.
